“America’s veterans answered the call to serve their country. Now it’s our turn to serve them with real solutions that improve their health, dignity and quality of life.
“In Congress, I’ve worked to expand access to care and benefits for those who have worn the uniform. I’ve introduced legislation to expand access to nutritional food for our veterans, address critical gaps in mental health care for veterans and review the deaths of all veterans treated by the VA who died by suicide or from a drug overdose. As a former member of the Air National Guard and with thousands of veterans in my district, I’ll always work to honor the sacrifice and service of those who served.”
