TOMORROW: Gov. Scott to Meet with Fla. Congressional Delegation
WASHINGTON – U.S. Reps. Vern Buchanan and Alcee Hastings, co-chairs of the Florida congressional delegation, today announced that Gov. Rick Scott will be in Washington tomorrow to update the bipartisan delegation on hurricane response efforts.
“We look forward to receiving an update from the governor on the current state of play and what more needs to be done to help Floridians recover,” Buchanan and Hastings said in a joint statement.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in room 2020 of the Rayburn House Office Building. It will be open to the press.
