Buchanan Talks Tax Reform on Fox News Radio
WASHINGTON – Congressman Vern Buchanan, R-FL, a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee, joined the nationally-syndicated Fox News Radio program “Kilmeade and Friends” today to discuss tax reform ahead of tomorrow’s IRS tax filing deadline. Buchanan said the current tax code punishes everyone from individuals to businesses trying to compete in the global marketplace.
“We need to bring down everybody’s rates,” said Buchanan, a 30-year businessman before coming to Congress. “The tax rate for small business is almost 50 percent. How much is enough? It’s way too high, it hurts jobs and it hurts working families.”
